BCS Electrics provide commercial and industrial Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) to highlight potential safety shortcomings, defects or deviations from the current electrical regulations BS7671.
A BCS Electrics Electrical Installation Condition Report includes:
- Site visit by a qualified electrical engineer
- Visual inspection and electrical testing of infrastructure and accessories
- Programmed repeat visits every 5 years/ inline with current BS7671 regulations
It is a legal requirement that the electrical installation in all commercial buildings is tested every five years unless specifically stated otherwise.
To ensure all our customers are compliant, their staff and the premises they work in are safe, BCS Electrics carry out EICR’s on all electrical installations. We then on completion leave the installation with a visible sticker which records the date of test and certificates of whether the installation is satisfactory or unsatisfactory. This is matched with a report for the customer as well as one for our own records. Where defects are found, we then provide a quote for repair, arrange maintenance and a date to further test and update compliance records. This ensures all insurance and current regulations are adhered to.
