This year not only means a 70 year celebration for Leeds based BCS Electrics, but a management team buy out by two of the company’s Directors.
Managing Director, Dean Towers and Finance Director, Tony Barnett secured ownership of the 70 year old electrical company from the Furness family earlier this year. The management team take over from Charlie Furness, son of one of the original founders Harry Furness, following his retirement.
Following the ownership agreement, Finance Director Tony Barnett said “after working with Dean, the Furness family and a number of associates to complete the buy-out, we are delighted and proud to now take full responsibility of BCS Electrics. We have plans in place and a great team of managers and electricians ready to build on the success of Charlie and we are grateful for his part in where the company is today.”
For the last 70 years, BCS Electrics and its team of electricians, have been serving businesses in Leeds and the Yorkshire region, with a number of electrical services. Their clients include the University of Leeds, West Yorkshire Fire Service, West Yorkshire Passenger Transport and the Reserves Forces and Cadets Association (RFCA). BCS Electrics have worked with the RFCA for over 30 years, servicing their headquarters with electrical maintenance and repairs.
