From apprentices to BCS electricians

Posted in News on Jul 14, 2016

Meet Danny and Luke as we welcome them both to BCS Electrics.

After four years with BCS, Danny Priestley recently completed his apprenticeship and is now a fully qualified electrician, joining the team on projects in and around Leeds.

Luke Kennedy at 16, has just left Garforth Academy. He started his electrical apprenticeship with us earlier this month after completing his exams. As well as on the job training with our senior electricians, Luke will also spend time at Leeds City College to complete his qualifications. Like Danny, he will be qualified in four years ready to take on a permanent job and projects of his own.

Managing Director Dean Towers said “As one of Leeds largest electrical contractors, BCS Electrics has a long history of apprenticeships. We pride ourselves on giving the best training which coincides with qualifications gained at Leeds City College. Danny has worked hard and we are pleased to offer him a secure position with Luke following once his training is complete. We hope more companies do the same to keep standards high in trades with great recruits keen to learn.”

A great career ahead for both Danny and Luke and we wish them all the best.
