BCS Electrics supplied and fitted a tailored alarm to maximise staff and passenger safety.
Metro’s Bradford Interchange Bus Station approached us with a significant requirement: replacing their outdated fire alarm system which not only conformed to current regulations but one which provided clear and loud voice commands to enhance the safety of their staff and customers.
It was important for us to supply an appropriate voice sounder fire alarm system appropriate to the functionality of the bus station. This first meant understanding the specific needs of our client, how their existing system was used and relying on our up-to-date knowledge of available systems. We chose the Vimpex Fire-cryer plus FC3/A and Vimpex midi FC3/B voice enhanced sounders which we put through stringent sound and voice testing to ensure it would be sufficient for the heavy volumes of people that pass through the station and clearly communicate emergency announcements at any given time.
Key highlights of our service:
* Flexibility on installing the right solution according to client requirements
* High level testing to establish an effective product.
* Supplying well-managed and co-ordinated team to upgrade the new fire alarm system within the agreed time frame.
